This thread has useless Subject: headers.

It is much more useful to have an apt Subject.  If you lack imagination, 
the commit hash is an obvious candidate.

Just to make another point, I've left it so you will probably see three 
copies of out mailing list postscript.  It would be helpful to trim this 
and other superflous text when quoting.
