[Swan-dev] more dead test scripts?

It was pointed out to me (offline) that swan-test contained a bashism
(== vs =), but on closer inspection it seems the file is dead so I
deleted it.

Are there more files and/or make targets that are a candidate for removal.

Off the top of my head there's the top-level 'make check' which, if it
were patched up, would confusingly still invoke swantest.
