While, like I predicted, upstream (i.e., python.org, and not fedora)
gave us the knee jerk response:
  I see many flaws with the libreswan code's design

I'm now certain that cf-deadlock.py is unrelated (but still bad); and
if you give it enough time it will barf on all versions of python.

You should try the attached.
