[Swan-dev] tests referring to source

FYI,

I've pushed changes to install "enumcheck" and "algparse" during a
normal build/install and tweaked basic-pluto-00 to run the installed
version.

The test is still wip as I've not updated the OUTPUT.*.txt files.
Looking at the differences suggests it needs careful review.
