Yea, finding that was a nice bonus, and will have sped up all boots.
BTW, there's still something unexplained: I re-checked, and without
the above nic/master boots in ~1minute while with the kerberos stuff
it takes ~2minutes on my machine. OTOH, with the above, NIC boots in
<30s regardless, so just isn't worth perusing.
