[Swan-dev] setting up another test machine

I set up another test machine yesterday.
I followed the instructions and had very few adventures!
Good work!

The few surprises were caught by the makefiles and were easily fixed.  
Some were already documented and were thus user errors.

- the ~build/pool directory needed to be pre-created

- the ~build directory needed to be "executable" by the qemu user

- /var/lib/libvirt/qemu needed to be writeable

This was way less painful than any previous attempt.
