One possibly-related thing that has been a long time problem:

Under some conditions, a build will drop
	lib/libipsecconf/lex.yy.c
	lib/libipsecconf/parser.dot
	lib/libipsecconf/parser.output
	lib/libipsecconf/parser.tab.c
	lib/libipsecconf/parser.tab.h
in the source tree.

Please make it stop.
