    setup: clean up
    
    - trust initsystem (don't override it)
    - replace if/elif chain with switch
    - when init system is empty drive things directly
      (much like for namespaces)
    - only check for namespaces when docker
    - only probe for cisco when systemd / rh*
      (the probe assumes "ip")
