    logging: add jam_*_bytes() functions, test
    
    lswlog_bytes() replaced
    
    Note that jam_meta_escaped_bytes() differs from escape_metachars() in
    that:
    
    - it escapes !isprint()
    - it outputs correct escape codes
    
    (escape_metachar()'s format has been "\\03%o" since 2013 (vs
    "\\%03o"), see 0c9e7831570fbe1c641df16baf51446b55e63a7e)
