    crypto: merge new_pcrc() into build_nonce() and build_ke_and_nonce()
    
    Rename merged functions request_nonce() and request_ke_and_nonce()
    (shorter than more correct send_nonce_request()).
    
    Hide implementation detail of crypto-helpers from state code.
