    kvm: clean up messed up KVM mount points
    
    For instance, any trailing "/" is stripped.
    
    Make's $(dir) leaves a trailing "/" (so $(dir /home/build/source)
    becomes /home/build/ ) and Python's os.path.basename() turns
    the trailing slash into "" (a documented feature).
